Here is a modern and sculptural sofa in solid exotic hard wood handcrafted in the Netherlands in the 1960’s.
This beautiful piece features a sculpted frame with elegant lines reminiscent of the work of Brazilian designer Jean Gillon. The comfortable high backrest is made of delicate reclined spindles while the armrest sport a terrific “paddle” design. The frame rests on a set of tapered legs.
The sofa has been recently refinished, re-belted and re-upholstered over new high density foam with a premium 100% wool fabric from ROHI in Credo Snow.
